Beautiful apartment with a direct ocean view and a well-maintained garden. The breakfast served on the veranda with a view of the ocean, pool, and garden was fresh and simple. The host was very welcoming and fulfilled every wish of his guests. The highlight of the stay was the helpfulness of the host, who organized car rentals and suggested various tours. The location is perfect for exploring the Black River National Park and Chamerel. The shared kitchen space and pool were also great amenities.
The location near the mountains means there are a lot of mosquitoes, so be prepared. Also, the lack of restaurants within easy walking distance is a bit inconvenient.

The Tamarin Chambres D'Hotes provided a wonderful opportunity to be in direct touch with nature. The location was fantastic, allowing for easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. The highlight of our stay was the dolphin swimming trip, arranged by the owner. The host, Jean-Pierre, was incredibly caring and helpful, suggesting activities and arranging them for us. The recently renovated room was great value for money.
Felt at home here, with nothing being too much trouble.
